Who We Are
YourAlbania.com is an independent website run by a small editorial team. We publish practical guides for people planning a trip to Albania, and news for travellers, property buyers and investors who follow the country closely.
Albania has changed quickly over the past decade, and good English-language information has not always kept up. Our aim is simple: clear, current, well-sourced information in one place, so you can plan a trip or a move with fewer surprises.

How We Work
We show our sources. Every news story and every new guide ends with a list of the sources it is based on. We prefer primary sources, such as Albania's statistics institute (INSTAT), government and EU announcements, and airline and airport statements, and established news outlets. You can follow each link and check our work.
We write in our own words. We do not copy articles from other publications. When a story comes from another outlet's reporting, we summarise the facts, explain what they mean for visitors and investors, and credit and link to the original.
We check before we publish. Every news brief and guide is reviewed against the sources listed in the article before it goes live, and facts and links are checked before anything is published.
We date everything. Every article shows when it was published and last updated. Prices, timetables and entry rules change, so please confirm anything time-sensitive with the official source before you travel.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, please tell us using the contact form (choose "Content Correction"). We review every report, fix confirmed errors promptly, and update the article's "last updated" date.
