Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit YourAlbania.com ("we", "us", "our"), how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information. Information is collected in three ways:
- Automatically, by our advertising partner. Google and its partners may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you reach them, using cookies and similar technologies (see below).
- Through privacy-friendly analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and measure site speed. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
- When you contact us. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers it to us by email. We use it only to reply to you.
Advertising and Cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Specifically:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept personalised ads. Until you accept, we ask Google to show only non-personalised ads, which are chosen using the page you are reading rather than your browsing history. Non-personalised ads still use cookies for purposes such as limiting how often you see an ad, aggregated reporting and preventing fraud. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Ads may still appear, but they will not be personalised.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To make a request about information you sent us through the contact form, write to us through the contact page. For data collected by Google, use the controls linked above.
Third-Party Links
Our articles link to official sources and other publications so you can check our information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
